The Four Winds is one of my favorites- the historical context is something I had interest in while at university, and this aspect of the Parable of the Sower definitely rang familiar to me for that, (along with other prescient reasons).

Some of the most formative reading of my life has been from authors writing vastly different experiences from mine; fiction included, poetry, essays... Hurston, Morrison, Lorde... what they taught me made me a better human

Imagine what a great country we could live in if everyone made it a point to incorporate listening to and believing the experiences and perspectives of others. This is how we learn empathy.

The first weekend of Unrivaled is exceeding my expectations! Also phenomenal is the Athletes Unlimited League- their season is coming in February 🤗 Short season, but it may actually be my favorite pro league for W hoops (and volleyball!)
