It has a metallic threaded material to create a Faraday cage that should keep radio frequencies from being broadcast or received. I keep all my old phones in RFID bags. In a pinch, a microwave oven should block signal too, unless it leaks while running.

You gotta switch off “learn from this app” to stop the AI from being spyware/bloatware on every single app on your iPhone, and it’ll switch itself on after updating.

If you’re using the AirNow app, they’re having a data problem. Make sure to check the actual site, and maybe people’s air quality sensors on Wunderground.
