After everything they have endured, people must at least have a choice about whether they want to stay in Belarus. But we will do everything possible to receive them. The immense support from Lithuania, especially in helping with documents, is deeply appreciated.

One year ago, workers at the Sumithra Hasalaka factory in Sri Lanka were concluding their 75 day strike for better wages & their union rights & going back to work, with the promise of arbitration. One year on, arbitration still hasn't brought them anything & workers still struggle on poverty wages.

This week marked the 12th anniversary of the Rana Plaza collapse. It remains astonishing that although (under immense campaign pressure) brands improved building safety, but failed to address the fact that people entered an unsafe building because they weren't organised & were earning poverty wages.
