Take away science and education funding, vilify scientist, and because people are too uneducated to understand, too mentally exhausted to pay attention, or too distracted by petty differences to recognize what's happening, the rich and powerful do what they want.

This is absolutely disgusting. 30% of faculty/staff at Haskell Indian Nations University and about 40% of faculty/staff at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic University in Albuquerque were fired Friday. This is an egregious move against Native communities.

How can anyone read the transcript of that press conference and not hear the blatant racism spewing from his mouth? He's all in and has no reason to hide anymore.

Just a reminder that there was another time in history when people were asked to report on their neighbors lest they experience repercussions themselves. Things didnt turn out so well...like to a point where we used to use it as a lesson of a time in our history that we never wished to repeat.
