Well as I age my tastebuds lose their ability to handle spicy food and for a girl raised on Mexican food this is problematic. Sour cream for the win.

Hubby worked on Thanksgiving so we waited till tonight. Good company. Best green bean casserole I’ve ever made. Cardiac potatoes & gravy. Perfect yams. Scrumptious stuffing. Citrus cranberry sauce over juicy turkey. Followed by pumpkin, pecan, & apple pies w/ extra creamy & peppermint whipped cream.

On this day I want to thank the native population of this continent for their protection of the environment and for sharing the beauty of this land with us. I’m sorry for what they went through from the colonization of this place and that they continue to feel the ramifications of it. Peace

I finally sorted and organized the Halloween stuff tonight to be put away. Felt good to downsize it. Went from 12 bins to 7. Out of spoons. My back is screaming at me but I feel like I accomplished a task that was daunting.

I’m thinking about things I can do to stay positive and help orgs that need it. I’m considering starting a side hustle to raise donation funds. So many organizations are going to need serious money to help those who need it most.
