All of the best ideas around Sam Wilson’s burden of being Cap were already used 3 years ago on TV, thus it’s a struggle to care when he’s going through the SAME problem here. Mackie is still good in the role, but he never shines enough through the CG muck, leaden script, and jingling-keys action.

Seeing his cameo as John Ford at the end of Spielberg’s The Fabelmans gives me such immense joy every time I’ve seen it, because it almost feels as if he isn’t acting. He is just straight-up telling you “shut up and go to work. Tell your story and get on with it”. Just wonderful stuff.

Cant be bothered to shell out that kinda money. I just choose to accept that the Arkham Trilogy is perfect as it was and find something new. I hate the idea of buying franchise instalments simply because they exist (ahem COD, AC, every EA sports game)

The Arkham games (even Origins) are kind of crown jewels in terms of comic-book games. They changed so much and were hit after hit, pioneering a whole combat mechanic that Spider-Man happily borrowed. And now…this. I’ll never play either Gotham Knights or SS: KTJL
