Also, if Stephen McHattie looks familiar, he's been in a ton of stuff over the years including the original Night Owl in Zack Snyder's Watchman adaptation. You may also know him from an episode of Deep Space Nine and this meme:

Granted, Nicholson a few years younger would have been even better in the role than he was in '89, but I always thought he was so famous and iconic he never really disappeared into the role. He was always Nicholson with green hair.

If they made a serious #Batman movie in the 1970s or early 80s I'd have loved to see Steven McHattie as the Joker. He's a good actor, intense and he's thin with that comics accurate bone structure. I'd love to see him in a Batman movie from the era of Steve Englehart's 70s run and The Laughing Fish.

And then you get the bit with the machine gun. She's just played for laughs in the finale where she had been a definite player for the first 2/3 of the film.

It's silly in how arbitrary it was, but it was fun watching Green lantern get confronted with it as an obstacle and having to find a clever way to apply his rings power to get around it. Also I love the randomness of a piece of yellow shrapnel penetrating a force field or something.

I'm not saying there aren't great characters out there and great stories, but I never really got all that into all the different colors of Lanterns in the #DCU. I kind of miss the days when it was just about #GreenLanterns and the rings didn't work on yellow.
