The gender and pitch within a surgeon’s voice can influence patient perception of surgeon skills and attributes. In our study, while female voices were associated with more compassionate attributes, this did not translate into higher patient satisfaction scores than males. @stanfordohns.bsky.social

Hi #MedTwitter and #OtoMatch! I can’t believe the time is finally here for me — after almost 10 years of schooling and two graduate degrees later, I am excited to announce that I have submitted my ERAS application for residency in Otolaryngology for the Match 2026. 🎉🩺⚕️
