Yes! Thank you. I'm NOT a Geno hater. I wanted him back. Everyone jumping on me assuming that I'm a hater. Ughh this is why I almost never participate in social media.There's always more to it than what is reported.

But once a relationship is broken, there's no saving it, that's what I'm saying here. I just don't think we can discount the fact that Geno maybe didn't want to play for John Schneider anymore no matter what unless they were going to overpay him dramatically. And we both know John doesn't do that

Whitney, I shouldn't have said "evidence" too strong of a word, my bad. But after watching DK's interview on Get GoT, I feel like there was a lot of internal dialog among players about not wanting to be there anymore. I'm not happy about that, I wanted Geno! I blame JS for that too.

My "evidence" would be the lack of dialog (as reported) after the initial offer. He may have been offended by the low ball first offer, I understand that he deserved better from JS, I get that, but that's how negotiation usually goes. Start low and move up to mutual agreement.

You're discounting the evidence that Geno didn't want to be in Seattle anymore. Why is that not a factor? Who would want a "Leader" that wanted to leave?? I wanted Geno to be our QB1 but what does that matter if he wanted out? JS had to pivot and we got the best available. It best we could do.
