at the same time, the adminstration continues to need our solidarity. people of different religions and ethnicities live together peacefully there, women have a say, and there are grassroots democratic structures.

in last days, the islamist “transitional government” has launched a full-scale attack on the self-administration of north and east syria. people have been forced to flee, have been murdered, and former IS fighters have been freed from prisons. #syria is in danger of becoming an islamist autocracy.

die chuzpe, jemanden erklären zu wollen, wie er seinen job macht, ohne ihn zu kennen, hätte ich ja auch manchmal gern.
