I couldn't care less about this near space flight. I guess it's newsworthy that a group of women can spend untold funds for this purpose, but, like almost all privately-funded flights, it's entirely disconnected from reality.

I'm wrecked about a number of things happening in our government right now. This is maybe the most unexpected. I have a 10-year-old who wants nothing more than to be a particle physicist when he grows up. Every time I read an article like this one I see his dream slip further away.

I'm wrecked about a number of things happening in our government right now. This is maybe the most unexpected. I have a 10-year-old who wants nothing more than to be a particle physicist when he grows up. Every time I read an article like this one I see his dream slip further away.
Apparently teaching young children to read, count, and dream is bad.

The sermon on agape love this morning was exactly what I needed and almost too much to bear. Agape love is selfless, empathetic, unconditional love for others. It's the love described in 1 Corinthians 13.
It's everywhere yet it's very much under attack right now.
