This is probably the most dystopian video I have ever seen.

And just like that romance and romantasy books have disappeared from the face of the earth...

Why not? It's good fun and very exciting to be travelling in a multi-hundred-tonne metal tube flying at hundreds of miles an hour, and seeing the ground race below you. Mountains, ocean, cities, whatever - all wonderful.

By the way, it seems TV, film and plays move just as slow if not slower. Speed once you're happy with the text is one of the great boons of P.O.D - at the expense of everything else. I have nothing but the 21st Century for reference but it seems like the arts are particularly slow nowadays!

It's the London run but the 2014 printing I guess.

Perhaps more concisely - once they are set turning the gears of political violence are very hard to stop. It makes no difference who starts them.

People think of it as this great exciting thing: it isn't. It's intensely bloodthirsty and violent. Same with revolutions - they're bloodthirsty, violent and terrifying.

Perhaps I'm an idealist but it really would be nicer if we could enact significant political change without resorting to killing.

It could just be: 'Here is my journey’s end, here is my butt' - followed by curtain and Benny Hill music.

@theabigailthorn.bsky.social - who's the screenwriter and who is the director? Or is that under strict NDA?

First off I speak as an Englishman so expect misunderstanding.
But blood has been spilt on both sides in a three-month timespan. This surely cannot go well. The country looks fit to burst as it is - this is the last thing it needs.

Wow, you wrote that fast! Also, best of luck!

@theonion.com - you come back and almost immediately reality tries to put you out of business again. I feel for your writers.

The Prince was an excellent debut! Eagerly looking forward to all the stuff you learned from that + whatever play is swirling round in your noggin receiving the bonus of that experience.

You do know the young men of America will not be able to withstand the slandering of their God with this impending press conference? Oh, how they foamed at the mouth with Tate!
September 3, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Ah, I only mentioned a few of the parallels in the live feed before I got bored (and realised I was probably boring everyone else as well) and stopped.

If it's anything in the Millibars (sounds better than 'skeets' doesn't it?) then I apologise.

Who are you talking to - Abigail or me? Just for the sake of clarity!
