Just now learned that CNs' bumpers came from necessity. When the network first launched they were having problems finding advertisers and needed to do something to fill up the time. I can't imagine the network without them.

call it the "Fuck You Gun".

Shelter is a cool movie. Classic 70s structure. Let's call it peaks and valleys....both can be really awesome. The peaks are kick ass action and the valleys add to the story and move it forward. And the team moves you from one to the other with ease. The sound editing is excellent.
