don't get me wrong, it's probably the same story on twitter right now. splitting a social media platform into two platforms based on political parties is just not going to end well. it's already hard enough to suppress misinformation, and this will likely make it harder.

and if the algorithm works the way it does right now, it'll continue to show more misinformation to the most impressionable people, and the cycle will continue until news sources start publishing these things as facts

someone tells a lie on the internet. people see it, like it, and repeat it. a chain reaction of misinformation starts, and because a lot of the people here have the same political beliefs, they'll believe anything that they read because they trust each other

it doesn't seem like an issue on the surface, but when the fear mongering begins and the misinformation starts spreading, it's going to be repetitively fed to the same people who will literally believe ANYTHING they read instead of actually doing research

i'm here because i'm trying to keep up with current events. this is slop content and almost every post i've seen has either followed this format, or has been a bot reposting highly compressed images of space that are stolen from reddit. i simply do not care.

However, the game audio was rather loud and we couldn't hear you very well. Many people were mentioning this in the chat but it was essentially hidden by all of the messages from the trolls. The trolls were feeding off of the fact that we couldn't hear you.

Christine, I'm so sorry that you feel this way. Nobody deserves to be tormented like this. I was there for the stream and found it to be rather entertaining, but the chat was rather toxic. You seemed to be very focused on the game and therefore weren't really able to read chat.

and why is the app 13+ if they openly allow pornography? every single tweet with over 5k likes had porn bots spamming the comments about their onlyfans

i don't even think i posted anything when i was under 13. why can't they just delete people's old tweets instead of locking the account? i'm not even from the EU?
