never died- he was always around and his music was alive as anything. So that’s my self indulgent John Lennon remembrance. To quote another great love of mine, the music never stopped.

Aside from how funny he was it struck me, even as a child, how much time and energy he gave for the idea of peace. It seemed to me like that was another career of his. I also really loved his short hair, all denim look because I could recreate it without long hair.
