I was goofing around with an AI app and asked for a pic of Emperor Nero during the Great Fire of Rome. I expected a pic of him playing the fiddle or lyre, but was surprised to see him with a golf club instead. Then I saw this headline and it all made sense.

Has Hollywood forgotten how to do the laugh tracks for sitcoms? There are at least three shows on right now that I can’t watch because the uproarious canned laughter every 30 seconds or so is just too annoying, particularly when nothing funny has occurred.

Walking the streets of Colonial Williamsburg, one of the plaices where the American Experiment began, where great men like Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and George Washington met and dreamed of a better way. Is it my imagination or is there a sadness in the air?
