When I was a kid, driving in silence was the worst thing I could think of. I would instantly ask my mom to turn on the radio. I hated a silent car until I had kids. If I'm alone it is now one of the few opportunities I have for quiet contemplation. Especially great on the heels of morning drop off.

I made a banana cream pie once for Thanksgiving dinner with my wife's family. My father in law said it was his favorite part of the meal. My mother in law also baked a pie. I am no longer allowed to make banana cream pie for Thanksgiving.

They can't keep playing Maxey 40 minutes a game.

Being solo was the biggest factor.

Fingers crossed! It was the last of a string of three shows in close succession. First two were Rilo Kiley and My Morning Jacket. The friend I was going with bailed, I was feeling a bit rundown and just didn't have it in me.
