Starting No One Lives Forever now which I haven't actually played but I remember loving the sequel a lot as a kid! This is the first actually PS2 era feeling game I've played so far since it has voiced cutscenes and actual attempts at good writing

Ok I did technically start this yesterday but still there was not a ton of content in this game lmao the concept seemed really neat so I kinda wish there had been an actual plot? The disc was super gunky tho so I'm just happy to have been able to finish it with minimal glitches lol

I haven't completely escaped The Binder (a big binder of loose games I bought at an estate sale many years ago) so now it's time for TimeSplitters which I know nothing about except that I just read it is apparently a spiritual successor to Goldeneye?

First game done!! It's funny playing them in release order because this actually did feel a lot like a PS1 game. I get the vibe that a lot of stuff was rushed to get this out on time. I'm giving Midnight Club 🚗🚕 out of 5 for being a bit repetitive and a bit unfair at times.

I'm going in release order this time so first up is one of my very first childhood PS2 games, Midnight Club! A very Fast & Furious vibe racing game

I started the Final Game a few days ago!! I believe it's a port of an arcade game and the music only seems to function like 20% of the time but hopefully it won't take too long to beat!

I took a break to play hollow knight but also the puzzle mode of Builder's Block was super long! The concept of this game was a bit repetitive by the end but I had a lot of fun. Honestly very few complaints I'm giving it 🟦🟧🟨🟥 out of 5.

Finished a playthrough of the arcade version of Builder's Block but there's also a very long puzzle mode included so here we goooo

As I suspected, it was a very short game lmao my favorite parts were the complete lack of any story whatsoever, the extremely janky controls, and that they showed Tobias in the intro but he played zero part in the entire game :)

Time for a James Bond movie that I can't even remember if I've seen! The intro cutscene cut rapidly between movie and game footage and thanks to the mind boggling graphics of the PS1, you can hardly tell the difference :)

Probably could've guessed Twisted Metal was the kind of game to punish me for playing on easy 🥲 I may have used cheats to beat the final level on hard to watch the ending cutscene
