We've already learned CEOs are more important than children.

I just hope their security is 'out of network'

Knowing the average American only reads at a sixth grade level goes a long way to explaining this

I had to spend SO much time during COVID working through my backlog

I love them and wish I had the disposable income right now for one.

I don't think it's hard to argue for a lot of people AI has already gone far enough.

Not if you go back to the midterms and see how many Republicans got busted tampering with voting machines. If that many got caught there's 10x that many (and I know a number that low is very optimistic) that didn't.

'we have the votes.' reads really differently with that knowledge

It's about to start happening here too

Okay but we all know why 'owner of Jeffery Epstein's old Jet' would put a pedophile in charge of the justice department lol

A small light behind that monitor would make that pop so much. I dig the minimalism though. I wish I was that organized 😂

I would put stock in the history buffs and the political scientists that have been screaming for a decade though. The fact they're already trying to throw 'progressive policies ' under the bus as the reason they lost is telling in regards to how far right the Overton window has shifted in the US.

Never did much on deadspin but a couple Jalopnik alums started to the Autopian a couple years ago. It's very much in the same vein.

Miserable people don't want to be happy, they want everyone else to be just as miserable as they are.

I miss me some vintage Jalopnik and the golden age of Gawker.

Threads will be headed the same way as the other side, just at a much slower pace. One of the p2025 dudes is a policy head at meta now.

Nah, a lot of 'non political' people went out and voted for the guy with the funny memes, not the black woman who was VP when 'inflation' (price gouging+manufactured artificial scarcity) was rampant. I am borderline suicidally disappointed at the outcome, but not at all surprised.

The American left needs to actually be left, for starters. It's already coming out that they are dropping any pretense of being a 'progressive ' party going forward. We need a viable third party.

If they were actually savvy they would've seen it coming and won't be surprised.

He has no guardrails anymore. He's going to do everything he wants to do. 😪
