Something I noticed on my recent rewatch that I haven't heard anyone else talk about. Toward the end, when Mark is describing his wife while putting the pieces of her picture back together, he sounds like he's giving a wellness session. The pattern of speech he follows is almost exactly the same.

It is the single best TV show of this decade so far, and it's more than worth it to pay a month or two of Apple TV+ for (or you could always watch it via other means). However you go about it, watch it. It's so good, and not nearly enough people have seen it.

Do you even know what figgy pudding is? It's basically fruit cake. This is a whole ass song designed to hold someone hostage at their doorstep until they bring out one of the most inedible dishes ever devised. Absolutely bonkers.
