I’ve seen these before and have always wondered where the hell they got enough juice to power all the amps. My storage unit had a single bulb and no outlets.

2020. That’s the year Apple switched to Apple silicon (the M1 chip). You 100% don’t want to be on intel chips that were used pre-2020.
However I would go no later than M2, released in 2022, and get a model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage minimum. Everything beyond that will be gravy

100% yes. The albums in the years of 84-88 are all weak (I said it), and overly reliant on experimentation on how to place themselves within an 80’s sound motif. This was undoubtedly a return to form and a brilliant and successful entry into a heavier sound.
