I’ve been doing it in Virginia for about four years where we have multiple elections each year. You get paid for time at the polling place but training is that n your dime, though some it is online.

You can also volunteer to work at polling locations. Election workers will be in the front lines of ensuring a free and fair election. It will require that you invest time in getting g trained, but it is worth it.
