And what happens when a student gets a hold of a teachers gun. Or a teacher accidentally shoots a student. I don’t think schools just let kids walk in with rifles. That’s ridiculous. Arming teaches just leads to more deaths in a panic situation of a school shooter.

This is a terrible idea. Teachers can easily control this in their classrooms. I am a sub and see it controlled all the time. Just have students put their phone in phone caddies upon entering each class. Problem solved. Banning them takes away their use for emergencies.
