Some right-wing publication will give it a positive review.

Theo and Bailey are not fans. The snow banks are even higher now.

Listening to WEFT nightly was an absolute joy when I lived in Champaign. Such a great radio station.

We could also give the band the Literature prize and other activists the Peace prize. Just give them all the prizes.

Good point. I had no beef him with him running, but I also think his campaign would show clearly how Clintonism is no longer where the party is.

Yeah, whatever else you can say about his past, Kristol knows a LOT about political power.

That's what I was thinking. If someone like Rosen is speaking out this forcefully, then it's pretty significant.

The cheers when the fan shouted “fuck ICE” are also a tell.

The minimum salary is about $1.5 million, which is more than a per-game contract IIRC, but again, nobody is going to pay to watch glorified rec league players.
January 25, 2026 at 7:10 PM
They’re not going to pay them at anywhere near the scale that current pros are getting much less decent college players who are getting NIL money. Not many people are going to pay to watch 2nd string D2 college players just because they’re wearing an NBA jersey.
January 25, 2026 at 6:23 PM
College guys who are already making six figures aren’t gonna cross a picket line to play in glorified exhibition games with players they don’t know. You might get some guys who topped out in high school.
January 25, 2026 at 5:55 PM
Gonna guess they’re just putting that on pause for a few days, but their hypocrisy on this will be even more blatant from now on.
January 25, 2026 at 5:03 PM
Very hard. You’d need over 1,000 guys in one county in NC. You’re talking about organizing probably hundreds of thousands of people nationwide.
January 25, 2026 at 4:57 PM
For sure. Wake County, NC, alone has 212 precincts. If you had 5-10 guys per precinct, you’re already at around 2,000 people. And that’s just one (admittedly very large) county in one swing state.
