verlaine was furious and gave chuuya a choice, either kill the man and stay here or leave without touching him and find a new place to live. chuuya chose the second option. together with verlaine and rimbaud, chuuya went to the basement one last time (6/7)

dazai said he wanted to get out of that prison, but chuuya couldn’t promise he could help him. then one day dazai’s uncle found out chuuya had been visiting and beat him up. chuuya came home covered in blood and bruises (5/7)

but when verlaine went to work, chuuya secretly visited dazai, bringing along their favorite food. almost every day he went down to that basement, telling dazai abt what was happening outside, the weather, the city and all the little things he noticed (4/7)

chuuya ran back home and told verlaine and rimbaud what he had seen. verlaine immediately told him not to go near dazai again, saying he could be really dangerous. verlaine made sure chuuya either made a new friend or just played inside instead of going to see dazai (3/7)

with just a loaf of bread inside and a red covered book. chuuya asked the kid his name and he replied that his name was dazai. he explained that he had been locked up there since he was four because his family thought he was a monster (2/7)

chuuya handed his sunglasses to the kid without a second thought bc the kid had blond hair, tiny braids and was carrying a toy motorcycle. he reminded chuuya of albatross

as a way to continue loving chuuya in the way her daughter once did. she also always buys chuuya’s latest albums, merch, and keeps up with all his news so that if her daughter ever comes back, she can tell her everything about chuuya #bsd #chuuya
