Tl;dr being tired and becoming arm-chair philosophical about society. Might as well use this account for it.
It feels like I'm watching society from a third perspective point of view just driving themselves into the abyss.
Even though society itself is able to see, what is ahead on the road. Though through absolute stubborness, they rather continue their path to it's final destination.

It's confusing to see people essentially presenting themselves "proudly" as a mean person.
Almost as if people looked towards the Internet edgelords of the late 2000/early 2010's and figured this was the way to structure their personality going forward.
