Yeah I shouldn’t be doing it for the likes but hey, when that’s the only validation on or offline I get, my brain chemistry just doesn’t care

Gotcha. It seems like the issue with self-hosting (not under any group like HW) is that outreach & advertising entirely falls into your hands + you can’t rely on people organically coming across your work thru feeds & such. I personally am setting up a Neocities site but only as a fun side thing
