Nah, there must have been some conversation that members of his own party wouldn’t support him - I don’t believe that he just withdrew bc he didn’t want to be a distraction.

The amount of conspiracy type maga posts I always saw despite never engaging with such posts or users, muting them, etc made it clear to me that Elon was amplifying one side. He’s bought his way into power now.

Im tired of all the crap on there. Elon is definitely amplifying one side over the other, at least that was my experience. But even beyond that it’s also grown so toxic.
