Are your clients confusing sexual desire and arousal?

We often hear these terms used interchangeably, but they are critically different:
Desire: Means wanting sex/sexual contact (a cognitive state).
Arousal: Means the physiological response to sexual thoughts/touch (a body state).

Is "libido" limiting our understanding of sex?

The word libido fails to capture the infinite galaxy of aspects that contribute to sexual interest - like eroticism, expression, & sensuality.

It also wrongly presumes a sex drive is "natural", alienating people who don't experience one.
