MEANWHILE amidst the wishes for an exciting release there are some COMPLAINERS! And these people are my favorite. To take the time to bitch in Nintendos live video chat is so funny to me. No one will hear you scream I promise.

Despite the salt and attitude from chat it does mean there is a air of hope the whole time. People still take the directs seriously and I love seeing it. The hopes for delta rune, hyrule warriors, kingdom hearts. I love seeing people really excited for the idea that their fav multi plat game comes.

Second: Zelda was released Feb 21 1986 - and granted we might not get MUCH for these big 40s but we DO get something, say for the 35th Zelda and 40th Mario we DID GET SOMETHING. - Therefor with a partner showcase obligation fulfilled, Nintendo can announce some Zelda goodies BEFORE the big day.

First: partner showcases historically happen within 3mo of any given full direct in recent years. These are obligations to partners. I think they happen before main Directs if there aren't big releases and after if they want the main Direct to hype up the partner showcase.
