RIGHT LIKE and sometimes i get pushback from people being like “well I’M taking the risk” and i have to gently remind them that there are other people who breathe their air. ok, so are you testing before and after you take these risks to make sure no one else is going down WITH you? right… right

i’m so tired of having to preface every social situation (party, shopping trip, con, concert, wedding, etc) with the fact that i WILL be masking and then i have to grovel bc i’m clearly harshing the vibe but they also hate it when i just decline attendance to avoid it all. it’s so anxiety inducing 😭

the lack of self awareness is so hypocritical and bizarre and i’m exhausted by the way people take offense at covid precautions now as if i’m insulting them by doing it around them. sorry i care more abt everyone’s wellbeing than your inconvenience holy hell. i personally do not miss organ failure!

i have never been more confused in my life at the ways in which people somehow entirely forget how disease is spread. “oh i washed my hands” “i leaned my head away” “i covered my mouth when i walked past someone with a fever” these are methods i would only think were thoughtful from a four year old

i still mask everywhere including small emptyish stores i’m only going into for like five minutes + i’m iodine spray the house down after even with the mask and it boggles my fucking mind that people are breathing raw analog air at conventions with tens of thousands of people. CON CRUD IS COVID NOW
