Actually, I've heard that many alcoholics are also smokers because the nicotine helps keep them awake to keep drinking. Also, a friend at rehab pointed out they don't have to quit smoking in rehab. Somehow cigarettes don't count???

Our puppy is learning to catch the ball in her teeth. She seems to enjoy our wild cheers when she's successful.

When I was 18, a friend got an amazing cable knit fisherman's sweater at the thrift store; it was lovely and loose. I heard the scream when she took it out of the WASHER! Felted and barely wearable. What was she thinking?

I told my mother "I hate you" when I was 16. Still makes me cry to remember at age 66. I don't even remember what made me so angry.
