Actually, I've heard that many alcoholics are also smokers because the nicotine helps keep them awake to keep drinking. Also, a friend at rehab pointed out they don't have to quit smoking in rehab. Somehow cigarettes don't count???

When I was 18, a friend got an amazing cable knit fisherman's sweater at the thrift store; it was lovely and loose. I heard the scream when she took it out of the WASHER! Felted and barely wearable. What was she thinking?
