For performers who want to boycott the Kennedy Center - because a corrupt Board added Trump’s name to it - please move your event to nearby George Mason University’s Center for the Arts or Eagle Bank Arena. We know many of you need the money and Fairfax would welcome you.

We the People are not powerless between elections. Boycott the Kennedy Center and performers who perform there. Boycott Amazon whose wealthy owner donated to the destruction of the East Wing….and on and on. Audit your spending. Every dollar you spend is a vote.

Did you know this history? I didn’t. The Equal Justice Initiative @eji.org shares daily on-this-date history posts. How great if these were shared in high school US history classes. It’s hard to stomach that our nation once did this, but it also deepens appreciation for how far we’ve come.
GAO: Millions of US workers are eligible for taxpayer-funded Medicaid and SNAP food benefits. How is this not government subsidies for private business? All on top of big tax breaks (tax expenditures) for large companies. Time US companies (not taxpayers) paid full freight for business expenses.

Please join the boycotts that use our purchasing power as leverage for justice and to actively love our neighbors. Peaceful “No Kings” and other protests are essential but not sufficient. Every dollar you spend is like a “vote.”

Please pray for Speaker Johnson. He is a Christian brother and Constitutional lawyer. How beautiful if his heart could be softened by listening not to Trump but to Jesus’ words on Truth, loving God and your neighbor, and caring for the Least of These. Speaker Johnson stands at the pivot of history.
