I get that this is dystopian, but I'm having a hard time imagining specifics. What's a worst-case scenario? Also, examples of what Palantir is likely to start with to test this power? What should we be on the alert for? A lot of people won't get it unless they can imagine specific situations.

/And how can dems make admitting when they were wrong about something an asset? In science, admitting you need to correct something is not "weakness", it's progress. Control the narrative better, don't always just react to the right wing narrative.

Still thinking about this since I posted. A related concern is how can dems be better at making sure they aren't also spreading disinformation with knee-jerk responses? Because even if it's less common, it makes it easier for the opposition to point fingers and deflect./

Q: Why are dems so bad at capturing people's imagination? How can dems capture imaginations with reality, instead of how the opposition does with disinformation? Is it even possible in the age of social media?
