So, it's very interesting talking about dynamic range, because it's intrinsicly linked to what ADC they are using on the sensor. The bit-depth has a strong correlation to usable dynamic range. 10-bit = ~10 stops, 12-bit =~12 stops. Etc.
That's why cameras are mostly the same.
