Seconds (1966) Dir. John Frankenheimer- The American dream is not what it seems. Rock Hudson stars in this surreal, unnerving tale of identity and reinvention. Wealthy men seeking youth and meaning undergo a mysterious procedure, only to face existential dread. Surreal touches linger long after.🎞️📽️🎬

I agree with you. I liked Kelly more than Boyle as well.

I still discuss with friends exactly where Fenn really was....She was great. Witt deserved a bit more, I agree.

If I may, this was the first film in my life I actually walked out of. I was a full on adult who had seen so many body horror films but this one.... my psyche asked for a break. I did watch it in full at a later date and think it's great- but that day----

Ashley Judd felt like she just wanted to be on set and Lynch let her. I kind of liked the Vegas stuff. I mean Watts was amazing and I still feel the whole Dougy storyline was a big troll on fans who wanted him to snap into Cooper each episode and each one he did not do it.

Quite a nifty film. There is something about Cummings as an actor I am drawn to...

Oh my god, how I'd love to be you watching it for the first time. Enjoy- it is a treat

Indeed Lee is superb. I really feel she should have had a much larger career. I was so happy to see her in the Return- which I love as well.

Excellent film- Weaver was just great ( where was her Oscar nom) and the tone it managed to achieve was cold, yet hypnotic. The feeling of late autumn/early winter- achingly beautiful.

I had no idea, thanks for this. Indeed you can see the influence.

Every night Charlie Brown, every night.

My favorite pumpkin pics- I have developed a whole story in my mind as to how these came about.....

I agree with you on this. It's not bad, but in the end, I rewatch the Romero all the time-

Never thought of it that way but indeed you are correct.

I think it suffered because, unlike the series, it was pure Lynch, no need to reign it in for the networks. Well that and limited Cooper which, if you read old reviews, seemed to really bother people. I can say, from day one I loved it, but you are right, it is so so so very sad....

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992) Dir. David Lynch- Reviled at release, now seen as one of Lynch’s best. This prequel dives into the truly dark, not safe for TV- underbelly of Twin Peaks, exploring trauma, secrets, and the horrors of Laura's last week. Haunting and unsettling -essential Lynch.🎞️📽️🎬

and least we forget the Ida Lupino of it all.....

Look! I have one job on this lousy ship, it's *stupid*, but I'm gonna do it! Okay?

Love this film- and this line in particular.

We're in the same city now, I've indicated that I'm receptive to an offer, I've cleared the month of June. And I am, after all, me.

I'll give it a go. I must admit, I did not hate Who's that Girl- so open to the Madonna of it all.
