I am a HUGE Star Wars fan. Boba Fett was my first crush at age 3, and that love has still persisted to this day. I grew up with the Extended Universe books and have probably spent 10% of my entire life on Wookieepedia. (Not Wikipedia––WOOKIEEpedia!)

Okay one thing I didn’t mention earlier (and I’m kicking myself for it) is the man-shape in one of her “pretty/innocent” paintings earlier in the film.

Entering a dark room with only light coming from behind the camera with a bunch of shapes covered in white sheets is just eerie. They keep setting up for jump-scare moments and not giving in, yet I can’t help but turn the volume down in anticipation of one

I’ve never heard of bringing specialists in for a patient, but I have heard of patients traveling to specialists. But this is easy to overlook—obviously Debbie traveling is not ideal for the storyline (especially from a production standpoint)

Her skin condition, itching while being with the doctor just to pEEL HER SKIN BACK AND GROWL is hair-raising. All the doctors trying to run tests just to find really nothing definitely builds curiosity.

The tender moment of showing Debbie her behavior outside, and telling her she was sobbing when she came in. Sarah says something about Debbie telling her not to answer the phone like “he” was calling…. Who he???

Debbie’s daughter bringing up how Debbie is being a menace to herself and Debbie brushing her off to go back to her “lady friend” in Richmond is so sad. Debbie listen to her there’s obviously something wrong 😭😭

Her suddenly going from the floor to the counter is INTERESTING. It reminds me of an earlier shot, when the camera man watches Debbie with the snake in the garden. He turns the camera away, then back and she’s suddenly right next to him.

THEY FOUND DEB having a meltdown outside. and now she’s inside, staring angrily at Mia, cleaning the blood off her hands. Mia’s trying to make light conversation and Deb’s complaining how her daughter’s nails are just dirty

Okay so the window being open with the nails hanging out of it is terrifying! I didn’t think the nails in the windowsill would come into play so soon. But maybe they will again?

Oh my did. This camera man is too brave for his own good. Going through the dark house just to find Debbie standing, looking out the window is terrifying. I have a feeling the RadioShack Motion Sensors with come into play again later, as Debbie nails the windows shut

I just want to mention that the lighting is so good I don’t even notice it. Everything looks super natural, highlighting the idea that this is a low-budget student doc
