I am back with another AMOS video, and I’m further exploring anaglyph 3D in this ‘3D Shooter’ game concept.
Take a look and give me your opinion: do I give this up and move onto something else, or continue with the concept? 🤔

Love this style of game. Pity it died out. Loved the original wipeout on og PlayStation. Played it till my fingers bled.

I have a lovely walk through cassiobury park in Watford on the way to work. The arseholes were obviously out to play yesterday. I mean: why.

My latest video is out and I’m creating 3d graphics in AMOS, and *NOT* by using AMOS 3D! What witchcraft is this?!? 😱
Anaglyph 3D at its most basic. 😅

I loved Sam and max, day of the tentacle and monkey island. Looks like there are tons of modern point and click adventures that I’ve missed.
Time to get onboard with them.
Time to get onboard with them.
I see people saying this sort of thing often, and quite frankly it makes me sad. The truth is, more people are making good adventure games now than were ever made during the “golden age” of the 90s. For example: 🧵

Another homemade bookbinding project. I couldn’t find a copy of ”Atari ST Internals” to buy, but it is readily available as PDF, so I printed the whole thing, bound it and put a hardcover on it (it was originally only available as softcover I think). Very pleased with it :)

Quality as usual from YA. Well worth a watch.
My latest AMOS video is out. 😁
In a longer than usual release, I take you through the journey to create a simple AMOS game on the Amiga from an original Spectrum type-in listing.

Certainly this is news to me, considering that I got my Spectrum in 1990 when the mags were still plentiful, the cornershops were still teeming with budget games and the full-price titles were all in Woolworths, Smiths and the like. What a load of nonsense from The Register.

Aargh. Started a new job at the start of December. So back to work tomorrow for two days, off for one, then back for two.
In a week I’d normally just take off.
Grr.
That is all.

When Tynesoft released commonwealth games in 86, it had two issues: The name didn't resonate outside of the UK and the man in the art work was a little shall we say *cough* Aryan? (there were complaints)
When Tynesoft released the game in Europe it went for a different title and protagonist!

... But times changed. I quickly realised that I never had been a true gamer and that collecting vintage computers, trying out new (to me) 40 years old systems and going to retrocomputing events was more fun to me.

A book i still flip through on a regular basis. If I live long enough I might just understand the floating point calculation engine.
Actually who am I kidding, no I won’t.

Smurf is an awesome image conversion tool for the Atari ST/TT/Falcon, that while not the fastest, was actually quite preformant on machines with out an FPU.
