Honestly, I think a third of my #practice is me finding easier ways to play that which I’m out to learn.

Tonight’s double feature … #spinaltap
Another grueling physical therapy session is in the books. They wear on me, but the point is to get stronger, which I am.
Given the amount of hardware that now resides in my low back, the more work I can get done, the better!
It looks scary, but it feels terrific! The pain is GONE! #fusion

It baffles me when people essentially vanish right in front of me.

The doctor cleared me to lift up to 20 pounds last visit, which brings all my guitars back into play. BUT … I still can’t bend over to fire up my effects rig.
BUT … if I remain upright and lower myself to the floor, I can scoot over and power everything up! (Insert evil laugh)

The doctor cleared me to lift up to 20 pounds last visit, which brings all my guitars back into play. BUT … I still can’t bend over to fire up my effects rig.
BUT … if I remain upright and lower myself to the floor, I can scoot over and power everything up! (Insert evil laugh)

The docs want me up and moving every forty minutes or so. My physical therapist brings ankle weights. I’m settling for the heavier basketball shoes I haven’t worn in three years.

The morning of my surgery, I couldn’t get “Magic Bus” out of my head. I have no idea where it came from.
Good thing I had my earbuds. Of course I almost missed what the surgeon was saying because I was grooving so hard.
