Have not yet had to do this, but have tried to imagine how I'm supposed to get ANYTHING under my 7lb dog while she squats to pee. Her belly is literally half an inch off the ground when she goes!! Kudos to you for going the distance to keep her healthy!

I would understand that as you having no commitments/responsibilities, and not really knowing what to do yourself because of that/feeling untethered. Grew up in Oklahoma.

I’d 1000% rather wear something I’m comfortable in and that fits my body in a way that I like than to try to keep up with fast fashion! +1 for being over 40! 😂

From a federal financial aid perspective...if they receive aid & don't successfully complete the class, they owe back funds based on their last date of attendance. So if they come sit that final, even if they fail they keep all their money. What % know that? Not sure, but some clearly do.

I got the MMR booster this year (precaution) & the pharmacist was SUPER (like scarily) emphatic that I would feel bad for 24-48 hours, said start taking Advil in 2 hours (so I did). I felt...nothing? Maybe a little sleepy. Now trying to use that example to convince my mom to get the shingles vax...

1000% this! We only stopped fighting when I moved 150 miles away and so now, I just have to keep the mask on for ~2 hours once a week during a phone call instead of 24/7. The periodic weekend visits are exhausting but still mostly within tolerance.

I was very sad when I saw that you can't use gift cards for ebooks at Bookshop! Bookshop gift cards were going to be #1 on my Christmas list. Maybe some day!

I've only been on one 3 night cruise, but we had SO MUCH fun just staying on the ship. Eating the free* food, there were lots of free* entertainment options available, shows and such, pools and lounge areas, etc. Excursions are often just added stress b/c of time crunch!

I am currently weighing the $89 cost of a new battery for my 4 year old phone because it's the only thing wrong with it. I figure a new battery could get me another 2-4 years out of it and honestly...I don't want a new phone that comes jampacked with all the stupid "AI" crap.

Boox devices might be worth a look. I have the Palma, it basically runs on Android so any app that's on the Google store is available (along with its UI), but it's e-ink (with backlight). I also appreciate the flexibility of not being locked to Amazon's ecosystem.
