We need to support the efforts of the Iranian people without irresponsibly taking military action. Our national security and safety of our servicemembers overseas should remain a top priority.

Our national security and military are not pawns to be played with so Trump can get his hands on Venezuelan oil. Last week, I joined my @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues to call out this administration’s reckless pursuit of military intervention and regime change in Venezuela.

We cannot leave our Reserve and National Guard servicemembers with disruptions to their pay and benefits when their mission or job functions change. Rep. Bergman and I introduced legislation to fix that issue directly.

It was great to meet with the San Gabriel Basin Watermaster, San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District, Three Valleys Municipal Water District, and Upper San Gabriel Water District to discuss the Golden Mussel control plan. Thank you for providing clean & sustainable water for our communities.

The current Reserve Component system is failing to meet the needs of our National Guard and Reserves servicemembers. I am proud to introduce bipartisan legislation with Rep. Bergman that will directly address some of the current discrepancies and promote equity in member pay and benefits.

Today, I proudly voted yes on the clean bill to restore the ACA tax credits, because we need these cost-saving tax credits to give relief to the millions of Americans feeling crushed by the weight of healthcare costs. (1/2)

A year after the devastating fires, our communities continue to rebuild as the battle for federal aid goes on. Thank you to the firefighters and emergency responders who protected our communities, and the residents and community leaders who stepped up to help their neighbors out.

Our Armed Forces deserve to keep their families together and feel safe in their communities. That’s why I introduced legislation that will protect military families from deportations and separations that harm our servicemembers and jeopardize mission readiness.

Small business concerns should be heard by the SBA Office of Advocacy, including on tariffs. A letter to Congress shared submissions on tariffs are not tracked. My bill to expand the Office of Advocacy’s hotline to receive and report information on tariffs ensures small business are not ignored.

This was not a law enforcement operation like they have claimed. It was about grabbing oil and trying to get their hands on Venezuelan resources.

This year, my office helped a constituent from Baldwin Park obtain his E-B5 green card after waiting on USCIS for 6 long years. When our community has issues or delays with federal agencies, my office is here to help.

Speaker Johnson stole healthcare from hard working Americans to fund tax cuts for the wealthy. Now this holiday season, he ignores skyrocketing premiums and refuses a vote on extending ACA tax credits. Families can’t wait around for his heart to grow, Congress needs to act now.
