finally remembered to write my brief review of reze arc.

i haven't watched the whole chainsaw man anime but every time i skim through the action sequences i'm just baffled at how badly they fucked the tone up.
A black and white two-page spread from the manga Chainsaw Man. Denji, in his chainsaw form, rockets through the foreground as the Bat Devil is sliced open and killed in the background. An enormous pile of intestines spill out of the Bat Devil while Denji strikes a pose with one knee brought forward, his chainsaw arms held out behind him, and his head high. It looks sick as fuck. The equivalent shot from the Chainsaw Man anime, in full color. The Bat Devil himself is barely visible and the amount of organs is significantly toned down, leaving only a shower of blood to accompany Denji. Denji is in a different, crouched pose, with his head lowered, mouth shut, and no cool flying knee.

been playing demonschool for about an hour and it's very cool so far but man. add this one to the list of PC indie games which really needed to hire a proofreader. i took all three of these screenshots within about a minute of each other.

we bought milk bread so i made fuck toast? it was pretty good but I'm not sure i toasted it quite evenly (we don't have a toaster oven so i just threw it in the oven oven). the honey and pepper go extremely well together. pre-toasting picture:
