to be clear i don't mind yuri's gender changing, i mind that their hair is arbitrarily styled differently even though it's the same length and they have shorts and thigh highs now. i don't like the character design decision that went into it

we need more loops that end on complete downers... i think this ep would have felt more appropriate after more of those too and with more spread out character moments with the cast

the ending was really nice though 😭 i wish they had leaned more into the comedy aspect of the event with jonas just being stupid as fuck+remnan not being traumatized literally five seconds before dying

i would have liked their genderfluidness to be like... a thing they would have done with autonomy or them be like "yeah i guess this was always possible"

i just want them to have better pacing between all the characters...
i did really like raqio's conversation with yuri and it's nice that yuri is less distraught by being a girl than wondering why it's happening (though being a girl+being gnosia being on the same level to them is ehhh)

i liked them combining sha-ming's gnosia win event with the slime event and the yumeshippers are probably super happy lol but then again it's like damn! we did not need to get through sha-ming's events this quickly and they're probably now going to leave him in the background

i don't like that they're not making a whole thing of the daddy line because it was such a huge reveal and it makes me like the kukrushka incident's adaptation even less. it also feels uncharacteristic of yuri to just leave remnan there and not think anything more of it

jonas hasn't really gotten much in the anime so far and him going off the rails while finally talking about meeting with kukrushka only to get interrupted by setsu going ok thanks that's all for today was one of my fave moments for him in the game 😭

idk there is just no reason to change their hairstyle, it feels like a lazy gender swap
i also did not like them suddenly dumping kukrushka lore without jonas and especially did not like the really short moment with remnan and sq

it could also be that they have their hair down and will tie it back up im just being evil

that said not sure if i'll play if only because it would need to be a step up from nagoshi's past output (though it is pretty funny how hard the fall off was when he left after y7)

i have spent hundreds of dollars on the series (supergroupies jackets, q bitz figurines, plushes, steelbook editions when i already owned the digitals, dlc) as well as spent hundreds of hours getting every achievement on every game+spinoff and idk it's pretty easy to drop for me

"problematic" stumbles in writing are one thing but if rgg studio's real life actions show that they think these things are excusable without a proper apology or actions taken to reflect a change of heart then i don't fuck with them
