Thanks for the posts. Haven’t listened much to Kimmel but watching this it seems clear why Trumpists wanted him cancelled. Mild on Kirk but non-stop take-downs of the other clowns in power.

Slight correction: it’s the National Archives (without the ‘Museum’ tag). They’ve always had the Bill of Rights on display. All 27 amendments you say? Visitors won’t likely have much time to read much of it (‘keep the line moving folks!) A book or pamphlet form will hopefully be on sale.

Much as I admire AOC’s activism, energy & many policy stances, this ageist gerontocracy argument is not a good look. Need better arguments to not support him besides “he’s old.”

Maybe it’s partly covid? So, once social spaces closed down queens and exhibitionists had nowhere (bars, clubs) to be affirmed and prance around so they took to the streets? Being out in the open? Plus fashion preferences?

So resorting to “full of shit”!? Hey I was a top high school golfer in Florida in my youth (50 years ago!) Practiced all the time with the boys (nice guys!) but matches were segregated. This cis- trans- gender stuff is what’s BS.

it’s why women want their own sports. Should adults join kids competitions? Should able-bodied join para-olympics? You & I will never agree on this.

A trans-identified male (or 2 or 3) wins a race and takes spots away from women? Trans haven’t changed sex. They aren’t women in the ordinary language (or biological) sense.

The organized fight for women’s autonomy, rights, & recognition has been (& continues to be) a long, hard battle. You’d think men who identify with (or as?) women would be respectful of them and allow their achievements (in sports, for instance)? I rarely see this respect among trans activists.
