🎉🥳

🇸🇪 Sweden will get a local edition of #TheRoseField (Rosenfältet) on March 26, 2026, translated by Helena Hansson for publisher Natur&Kultur.

⚠️The swedish cover (by Peter Bergting?) being seemingly a big (expected?) spoiler, so it's up to you to click... or not!

🇳🇱 Dutch sraffies will be first to get their translated copy of #TheRoseField, HET ROZENVELD, released simultaneously with the British edition on October 23 by Prometheus!
The cover (Chris Wormell?) is a wonder.
The publisher's summary is quite spoilerish...⚠️🤫

Dutch cover for Philip Pullman's The Book of Dust vol 3, HET ROZENVELD: a blue-scale cover with a cat-daemon (golden eyes) in the center, stars and sparkles in the background and 2 camels evolving against the moonlight in a desert with flying creatures around them...

This add is visible on the #TheRoseField page from a fAmour online retAiler (you know, this long river in South America...)

Under the cover of the British edition...
(from the A-website)
British edition of Philip Pullman's THE ROSE FIELD, as seen without the Chris Wormell's jacket: a dark blue cover and side, with golden sparkles all over it.
On the side there's a quotation: "The imagination, the Rose field, the truth about things - it isn't just out there, it's in here as well..." ("out there", and "in here" in italic)

Hi.
We could not attend this top-guests event, so we just rely on what others shared online, notably a few pics by publisher @scholasticuk.bsky.social (we just reshared these).
Other social networks provide notably a video of Sir Philip reading some lines about some powder in a decanter of tokay...

What a pleasure it was to listen to author of Northern Lights Philip Pullman in conversation with his long-time editor and publisher David Fickling in an event chaired by Jane Tranter, CEO of Bad Wolf. An incredible evening spent celebrating 30 years of Northern Lights.
