One thing that I see often is people trying to criticize things which are objectively meeting their expressed purpose for its aesthetics. Urbanism should not be about planning perfection, but about serving all urban peoples with a serviced good city.

To the planners/mappers I follow, how useful are 3 dimensional maps? How do you plan for elevation, consider lateral motion and other 3rd dimensional oddities in your 2 dimensional maps, when such factors become relevant?
