Pierre Mendy was a husband & father, dedicated to serving the Gambian Armed Forces. Lt. Col. Mendy was arrested & tortured by Correa & the Junglers. In Mile 2, he bravely supported other prisoners. Based in part on evidence collected in our cases, the perpetrators were returned to Peru to face criminal charges, where our partners Asociación Pro Derechos Humanos and Institute for Legal Defense represented the victims. In 2016, our defendants and seven others were found guilty. ⬇️
