The Scavenger is a fey who steals souls & traps them in his realm so he can feed off their pain & suffering until they lose all hope & fade away into nothing. His favourite prey he’s ever come across is Genevieve; it’s taken over 5,000 years to finally break her spirit.

DND party has spent the last 2-3 in-game months rehabilitating this poor guy from a cult.
He's gone from being scared of the air being "too thick" and the dirt being "too soft", to asking one of the PCs how to use a gun so he can help take down the guy who abused his childhood friend.
