The Greek community in Tarpon Springs, Florida get pretty worked up over diving for a cross on epiphany and I love it. Epiphany starts Mardi gras season for my family in Louisiana. I love America's diverse cultural "quirks" to the homogenized season. It's what makes us unique and special.

The fuck we will! We've done that several times in the last 25 years and we get fucked every time and they just keep swimming. Let them ask again.

Someone is eating 28 pounds of yogurt a year to average out my zero. That's over 2 lbs a month!

If you think corporate/oligarch control started in the 80s, you missed a few centuries of how power developed on this continent. We've seen the pendulum swing at times but it has always been weighted.

Hung up on that trash thing? Common practice for basic investigation. I get it. A seminal moment that molded a young mind and all, but dumpster diving journalists guided your politics? That's some college pride because the rival stole your mascot not principled development. Or I'm missing the joke.

It is, and will always be, an input/output generator, even without prompts. So far, it's a untrustworthy, glorified word search algorithm that hallucinates. How useful.

That's actually the "b and c" of becoming a Republican. You skipped:
A. Abandon all principles in the pursuit of power

You just jinxed it. Only 4:15.

"we've pushed" them to fascism? The Dems have been ready to meet in the middle on comprehensive immigration reform for decades. The right wanted to keep it as a political issue so bad they even tanked a GOP drafted reform bill. Bad take.

I can't read meidas touch articles from the link provided. I want to, but it refreshes by the time I read each paragraph and takes me back to the top of the article and by the time I scroll down to my spot, I get one more refresh to the top. It's infuriating for someone who supports the content.

On the flip side, if they aren't tech savvy enough to disable it,(which they aren't) wouldn't the default be that they are providing state secrets to Google's Gemini learning system? Will I soon be able to ask Gemini a question about Iranian war plans and the answer include some of that content?

An errant cigarette butt or roach puts an end to that. And you know we're smoking at that pool party.

I'll worry when AI can crack 75%, because right now it's 55% at best and some of the misses are Nazi apologist size misses.

It only looks scary as a percent of GDP, but 6%of Russia's 2 trillion GDP is far less than 3% of Europe's 20 trillion GDP.
