There was a paper about protests needing to reach a certain threshold for governments to topple themselves. We need to keep planning monthly ones, this is fucking insane.

Agreed but it feels like to extend Ant’s window beyond the Rudy and Julius era, we are going to have to gamble on some player at some point. Scoot is worthy of consideration.

I like it. We are a very good team, but it’s tough to see us coming out of the west without a more dynamic PG and a backup center. I think Julius is the most replaceable person statistically. I do like him but part of building the roster around Ant is trying to find a running mate. Scoot is a chance

Would Cam Thomas make any sense on this team? I’ve had his name lumped in with the Coby White, Collin Sexton’s of the league as maybe a guy who could add a dimension to us. Or is it too much of a black hole?

What do you know about her? Genuinely want to know as she is far more progressive than Klobuchar, understands current senate dem leadership isn’t cutting it and has spoken out, and isn’t driven to stay in the job past her prime. We need more Tina Smith’s not less.

How is Tina Smith a loser?

The smell the glove scenes are some of the hardest I have laughed at any movie. Incredible writing.

If you want to say we should have traded for Gordon or that’s your preference sure but that has no impact on how I would evaluate the Gobert trade especially since he was no longer available.
December 14, 2025 at 8:17 PM
I think it’s odd to say a move that put us in the WCF in consecutive seasons isn’t a huge success especially considering the present value and contributions of the outgoing assets.

The Aaron Gordon trade happened before Rudy’s trade so that isn’t possible.

Also, if you could find a way to send Rob to Sac for Keon Ellis and Devin Carter, I would love the Coby fit because you replace DDV with Keon on the bench. Not sure Rob has that value though but Keon and Devin are both on the outs there so maybe.
December 12, 2025 at 1:50 PM
DDV is good! You may be right. But he is definitely not a PG and he can’t pressure a defense or carry an offense very often. Just solid everywhere. I think White can push tempo, knock down shots, and create, but he’s not good defensively. I think he’s a fit for what we need but it’s not a slam dunk.

I don’t see why we give a draft pick. Donte is a real asset on a great deal for multiple years and a 2nd year guy who looks like a player but just needs more opportunity for a free agent PG. I like Coby and think we need that type of skill set at a guard spot by Ant but we’re giving up good assets.

I would prefer a trade, Mountcastle or Casas, or both.

Joe is delusional to the point that not selling more assets will lead to ticket sales. I think many (most?) are out entirely until they sell. I expect all 3 to be dealt by the deadline and we reenter the mid 90’s Metrodome era again.

Gleeman and Bonnes’ Thad interview is one I remember for him saying don’t stand still. Falvey has no idea how to evaluate talent or make a bold decision at this point. As a hopeful fan under a new ownership group, I’d prefer a fresh start with a young roster when I return to Target Field in 27 or 28
December 8, 2025 at 2:40 PM
I also think this FO and ownership will choose the worst option, waiting to make deals until spring training or the deadline thus lowering returns. This team is not good, is not a contender, and it’s ready prospects are marginal. Falvey has no conviction other than throwing water out of the boat.

Tend to agree with the bankruptcy part but I think it lends more to the idea of cutting to the bone in the short term, maximizing revenue from the profit sharing model for at least a year, then looking to flip the club after the CBA is finalized. Varde and the Pohlad group both guaranteed returns.
